3D Laser Scanning

Right of Light Consulting are able to offer their clients a high resolution 3D laser scanning service for both commercial and residential development projects.

This non-intrusive method, provides a more comprehensive survey than traditional topographical and elevation surveys, as it can reach restricted areas or those areas inaccessible to our surveyors. The survey comes in the form of a very precise set of point cloud data and can be imported into architectural software such as AutoCAD. The enables very accurate 3D computer models to be built.

Survey data is captured at speed. Therefore, a further advantage of commissioning a scan is that it reduces the timescale for completing a right of light survey. The survey data can also be made available to other members of the design team to facilitate design development and project implementation.
